Extensive sketching art kit for beginners and experienced artists alike!

I ordered this extensive collection of art supplies for our 28 year old daughter who’s recently forum into drawing fantasy and anime!

This is the most amazing beginner art kit (I only say beginner because I am a beginner, but this set would be AMAZING for a professional, too)! It includes EVERYTHING you could possibly need to create a beautiful colored pencil (or black and white if you prefer) drawings! The colors are SO vibrant, and go on so smoothly! I absolutely love the color sticks, which are crazy vibrant, too! The charcoal pencils and the graphite pencils are perfect for creating dimension and shading, as well as doing full black and white pictures! The blending tools work wonderfully, and my fingers were very happy about them, too, as I no longer have to try to blend/smudge with my finger and end up with fingerprints all over everything! The erasers are both REALLY good (I know you’re probably thinking, “it’s just an eraser,” but, if you’ve ever tried to erase something with a BAD eraser, you know the importance of having a GOOD eraser), and leave no marks behind!

There are a couple extra tools (like the ruler, etc.) that I have not used yet, as I have not needed them yet, but it’s SO nice to have them for when I do need them! There are 2 more really awesome things about this kit that I can’t end this review without mentioning: 1. The case is PERFECT!!!! It’s light, convenient, and everything actually stays in place! I’ve had cases before where the second you open it, everything goes everywhere; but not this case! It’s a really lovely, professional-looking case, and makes art on the go SO much more convenient! And 2.

The mannequin is something that I have never seen in another beginner art set, and I am a little shocked by that, considering how ridiculously helpful it is! The fact that you can just set the little mannequin up in any position is amazing! I can’t tell you how much trouble I’ve had with finding the right example picture when trying to draw a full body that isn’t just standing there with their arms at their sides. But those troubles are over! I have my own personal model, and I don’t have to deal with the awkwardness of using a live model who is often nude (let’s be honest, that’s just not the most comfortable situation, especially for someone who is not a professional artist) or might move around, and gives me that 3D perspective that working from an example photo doesn’t! Overall, I have not found a single con with this set, and have been EXTREMELY happy with everything included!

I recommend this set to literally anyone who wants a professional art kit that has everything you need, and/or is looking for a set that provides the portability to allow you to bring your passion with you anywhere you go!!
